of e-mails and MSN messenger users.

this is my desktop. check out my MSN messenger! it's a norm to see this many people on a Friday night. but the same figure appears at around 2-4 am during the holidays!
Posted by Hello

it has been awhile since my e-pals have replied e-mails i have sent to them. saddening lah, since i enjoy sending e-mails and receiving e-mails. ( not to be confused with sending forwarded e-mails messages, ok?) and no one has send me a reply. i feel hopeless. it feels like everybody either have forgotten about me, or think i'm non-existent. anyway, if you have an itchy hand to send e-mails, you can send an e-mail and be my e-pal.
click here to be my e-pal!

and the second part of my blog is about MSN Messenger. (i have wanted to write this for awhile now....)

i've noticed, during the holidays last year a lot of people have been going online till the wee hours of the day. and it seems like most of the MSN messenger users are on at night till the time the cock crows! i mean, midnight onwards is the peak hours for chatting online. what has happened to this people? have they turned into owls during the holidays?
socializing by day, sleeping by night.

the reason i was there to witness this strange phenomena is because i was either replying my e-mails, or couldn't get some shut eyes then.

speaking of e-mails, i'm patiently waiting for them.

and for shut eyes, i want some of them now!

of disappointments and faithfulness!

this just caught me in the eye as i was doing my devotion via OUR DAILY BREAD last night.

it seems that in life, people can be very disappointing at times, even if they are really close to you. some people can promise you that they can help you out, but keep on giving you incessant, and at times invalid excuses. and sometimes, they don't respond to you at all! others can be disappointing, as they might not turn out to be what we think they are.
wolves in sheep's clothing.

although we can do little the unfaithfulness of others. but we can do a lot about our own faithfulness. keeping our promises and show that we really mean them. because in the Bible, one of the fruit of the Spirit is faithfulness. God will create in us a steadfast spirit if we take seriously what we tell others we will do for them, and if we follow through.

so, i ask God, to make me a person who others can count on- who's tried and true!

partly adapted from Tried and True, by David Roper. (Our Daily Beard, Jan 26, 2005)

"But the fruits of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. ...."
Galatians 5:22-23

green flames and updates.

you know the colour of the fire when you switch on the stove, right? it's BLUE, for those who has not been into the kicthen or are still living in caves with lots of dry twigs and dead leaves.

surprisingly, i've discovered that the shove in my kitchen is able to produce GREEN FLAME. weird, eh? i only found out about this abnormality when i was cooking some noodles just now, and to my amazement, the fire wasn't blue, but green in colour!

could someone tell me how that could have happened? my brother told me that some stuff got spilled on the stove, causing this strange phenomena. what do you think?

i've just updated my blog. i've entered an entry (this one lah!) and also a few new blog links, like blogs of Freddy, Cassandra, Joshua and Lai Seng. didn't know that Lai Seng had a blog till i surfed through his website. well, which blog is worth checking out, you wonder? my personal humble opinion: ALL OF THEM!

picture from the retreat.

these are the photo from my Christian Fellowship (CF) retreat that we had last year. since Andrew "Wahen" Chan was kind enough to send me the photos, i guess it's fair enough for me to post them in my blog...

as i'm creating this entry, i'm still here in Tiara Damansara, as Aaron's sleeping, Enoch's pestering me and Hui Wen just came back. funny, Aaron didn't bump into both her and Angel in Sunway Pyramid. got to meet up with Cassandra and Mary though. must get up early tomorrow, i mean, LATER!

digital abuse!

last year, Megan got a digital camera as her Christmas present. and guess what? she and her sister, Ashleigh has been misusing this technology... up to the point that most of the pictures taken were obscene. hence, the camera was known as "obscene camera."

the following pictures are safe enough to be published in this entry. the photos have been taken by the sisters after our Watch Night Service last year... i mean, this year. (to get hold of the "obscene" photos, contact Megan! hahaha!~)

of blackouts and Bambi eyes.

i was shocked by the weird equipment that started humming violently in the AHU room near the DSA today. being cautious, i stepped a few feet further the room, as Aaron mindlessly walked pass by it without a care in the world. then, we entered the dark Department of Student Affairs (DSA) office to get some poster certified.

eh, the office is dark? shouldn't that place be brightly litted as students come in to inquire or throw in any complains?

oh, looks like there was a lack of electricity in the DSA block. there wasn't an current in PC Block either. same goes to the PD Block. wait a minute... there wasn't an electricity in the whole of KL! it seems that many parts of KL, Klang Valley and southern Malaysia were strucked by this catastrophe.

as i returned to PC Block, students were all outside the building. friends saying that even the PUTRA and STAR LRT aren't in motion. it was also rumored to last as long as two days or more.

the whole event reminds me of a scene from Neon Genesis Evangelion, where the whole Tokyo 3 was cut off of it's power supply to fuel the sniper rifle for the Evangelion Units to battle the 5th Angel. (or was it the 6th Angel?)

some of the students were disorientated by the event. others were looking for lecturers, in hope that their classes can be cancelled. i was one of them. and as we meet our Introduction to Chinese lecturer, Ms Chin, we begged her to postpone the class to another day. with Bambi eyes, and sweet talking, we manage to persuade her (one of the many pros being in Mass Comm!) i got off early today, as some tutorial class were still on despite the heat and lack of visibility. hahaha!~

as i was in the bus, i overheard the news on Radio 4 through my handphone. looks like the power's back on in most of the parts effected by the sudden shortage of power. as i wonder if i should have stay a little longer in university for the next class, the phone battery died.

oops...

Evangelion Unit 01. pilot by Shinji Ikari, this giant mecha took up the sniper to destory the 5th Angel. the ammonition: the power supply of Tokyo-3.

Day 2 (for Jan 2005 intake undergraduate).

eh, deja vu!~ this topic sounds familiar!

anyway, IT IS the second day for me as a Journalism, FAS student. yes, your are reading it right. Journalism, FAS (Facutly of Arts & Social Science). that's the course i'm taking. and i've been through Day 2, as a Jan 2005 intake student. fun? you bet!

till today, i've attended a few classes, like Communicative English, Introduction to Mass Communication, Introduction to Electronic Publishing, etc. well, the lecturers are entertaining lah, and they encourage the students to participate in class. and my Malaysia Culture lecturer, Mr Lee, is really funny and knows how to draw the attention of his students. a little blur, but he's great! can't wait to be in his class again!

and i'll be attending Introduction to Chinese class tomorrow. yes, your eyes aren't blurring out again. i'm taking this class this semester (it's part of the syllabus, i can't retaliate!) and i'm going to learn to speak Mandarin and write Chinese charaters! a shocker to some... i understand. i'm shocked too!

and i'm anticipating Christian Fellowship (CF) tomorrow! can't wait for it! bringing a few new found friends with me. speaking of friends, i met and spoke to my new classmates and some friends in FAS. and as i mention about friends, i thought of friends who are now in Sg Long. i wonder how they are, for i really miss those crazy fellow, especially those who climbed up with me to UTAR from CPS, TAR College. i want to see them again!

my back hurts. i guess it'll be another great day given by God for me to enjoy. i'll rest for now.

Ironic?

did you know that some of the Intrakota buses have been converted into "KL Rapid" buses? it's just different packaging, but serve the same service. yes, the SAME-SLOW-AND-AT-TIMES-UNRELIABLE service.

i had to wait for about 40 miserable minutes for that bus to arrive! i believe it would do mankind a favor by being more efficient than just changing appearence? don't you think so?

and THAT'S my only way to KL when there sin't any options left. sad, eh?
*sigh*
