This is Starlight Cinema 2005, held in Mont Kiara. I believed a few of my classmates when there last year.
This year's Starlight Cinema looks like this lah.
However, i came in not only to enjoy the free ticket and cool outdoor experience, but i was there as a reporter. It's times like this i LOVE being a reporter. But having a better camera would make me a better one, since the photos i took were lousy and had to depend on the PR people for it instead. But i did manage to write the story and submit it to the entertainment editor today, which was hectic as i'm already in a pickle with the supplementary i'm working on.
Sentul Park is in WestSentul!
Ain't it beautiful?
Ain't it obvious?
Anyway, i did enjoy watching the movie. But as i was watching it, i was reminded of a story in Joshua Harris book I Kissed Dating Goodbye.
The story was about this boy who obtained this ball with a string on it. (If you want to watch Click and hate spoilers, try steering clear from this part) He was told that by pulling the string on the ball, he could pass the bad stuff in life in an instant. So, he skipped his exams, fast-forwarded to know how his wife looked like, jumped over problem and leaped quickly into the future. It's then that he realised on his death bed that he didn't enjoy life because he skipped almost everything about it and died feeling empty.
Adam Sandler in CLICK. Like RV, it's a family movie. It's all about ohana. I mean family!
Being another Adam Sandler movie, it failed to be at par like Waterboy, but it's sure funny!
One of the interesting scene of the show;
Ben: Hey Dad! Look at Kevin's new robo-dog!
Michael Newman: [not listening] That's Nice
Kevin O'Doyle: Nice? This thing is worth more than your car.
Michael Newman: [runs over robo-dog] Not anymore it ain't!
Kevin O'Doyle: Robo-Dog!
Well, I guess life is all about going through the good times and the bad times. If you don't go through a hard life, you wouldn't really know how to enjoy a good life. I guess that's why most of us take for granted whatever freedom we have because we don't go through any hardship.
And don't take your family for granted as well. Once their gone, you wish you had spent more time with them. Seriously.
So much work, yet so little time. I wonder if i can extend my internship here in theSun. I'm loving this place and job.
Listen, late last night, I heard the screen door swing,
And a big yellow taxi took my girl away
Now don't it always seem to go
That you don't know what you got till it's gone
They paved paradise and put up a parking lot...
