Few weeks ago, I remember listening this quote over d radio, which goes something like this;

"No matter what you have done or not done, you are worthy of love."

This line is meaningful and true, and has become one of the things I hold on dearly in life, and I hope it brings a glimmer of hope in your life as well.

Mom, I would give anything to have a simple lunch with you in Ampang, like we use to do when I was in primary school.

I wouldn't mind walking along Tasik Titiwangsa with you in the evening.

I wish to spent a day just talking to you, updating my life and listening to your life story and advices.

I miss you and love you, Mummy....

Awesome weekend it was!

Last weekend was 1 of d happiest (and eventful) weekends I had in a long time.

I returned to Kuala Lumpur again (since the week before), this time to meet my family, friends and colleagues.

The main purpose was to attend David and Dewgem's wedding dinner at Tropicana Golf Club on Saturday, and I got the chance to meet up with the couple and Baby G, as well as catch up with Justin Tan, Bernard Yee, Eunice, Amanda, Sui Li, Tan Jo-Anne and Jessica as well as Eu Wah, my former coursemate back in UTAR.

The wine and fellowship was good, and I like the simple, yet touching ceremony.

On Sunday, I had the chance to meet up with my former cell group members, as well as church members in Revival Centre in Ampang. It was a bonus to celebrate Justin's and Joey's birthday at KFC in Bandar Baru Ampang.

The journey with my almost defunct Proton Saga was trechrous, but I manage to put on and meet my bosses and colleagues in the main offices in PJ. It was great to see old faces as well as new.

To top it all up, spending time with my parents and Rowen and Ernest was a gem too, and I hope to come dowm more often, if I can.

Karpal n Gurmit - an inspiration found today.

Today, I got to witness something great, that made an impact on me, left me an impression of awesomeness.

This morning, DAP chairman n veteran lawyer Karpal Singh was awarded over RM2 million in the 2005 accident, which left him wheelchair-bound. Click the link for the story - http://m.thesundaily.my/news/169894

The story was great, but what was greater was the story shared by Karpal's wife, Gurmit Singh.

While waiting for the amount won in the case, my counterparts and I managed to chat with her, and this strong-willed woman shared her life after the accident.

She told us how tedious it has been since the accident, where Karpal has to be assisted from the time he gets up till the time he goes to sleep; he is surrounded by people all the time.

"I will not get the same Karpal again," she said, and she teared up a little as she recalls the accident that took her man's mobility away from him.

Listening to her experience, I viewed that Gurmit had lived out the marriage vow of 'For better or worse' by being by Karpal's side even in this condition.

And due to the accident, he is constantly in pain, and take painkillers when the attacks happens.

But despite all these. Gurmit shared to us the rise of this great defender. He was still sharp as a knife in his thoughts, and able to serve his constituents as a Member of Parliament less than a year after the accident.

"When he is focused at work, the pain is gone," she said, agreeing to the statement I told her, "He's doing what makes him aive to stay alive."

Karpal is a man, fighter and defender for the weak, and I look up to him because of these. But I respect Gurmit for staying firm, composed and standing by Karpal side all these years.

As the saying goes, 'Behind every successful man, is a woman', and I see that in these couple.

My hats off to them.

I pray I can find my 'iron woman' one day. But I need to be the Iron-man before that can take place. I shall move forward....

Steve's in iNirvana? anyhow, he lived incredibly!

The tech world and social network when abuzz with the demise of Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple, this morning.

May this impactful visionary rest in peace.

What really caught my attention was this part of d article;

At d end of d day, I believe it's important to live life to d fullest potential we can.

I want to move forward, n not live in regret....

Recording down d days.

As time passes by, it's best for me to record experiences and what has happened in my day, as a reminder and lesson to both my readers and myself.

After all, sharing my thoughts on this blog was to serve that purpose. And I plan to continue this... Provided i can commit.

I will try to update this blog often, and I don't want the sun to go down on it.

Instead, I want God's glory to shine like the sun for us all, as I believe God as a plan for those who love Him, plans to prosper and not to harm.

Father's love.

Honestly, I don't really fancy calls from my dad.

He's concern, but at times it gets annoying. Sometimes, we get into arguments over the line.

The same happened a few hours earlier. During an argument of my current situation, my papa told me that he loves me, and he cares for me.

I told him I love him as well. Never expected it, but yeah, it's our Asian culture of not telling family members, especially men, wouldn't express such affection to one another.

It's a small step, a simple call, but it could be a calling to improve better our relationship as a family.

And another three - 365

And the one picture per day continues.

DAY 4 - June 4
Isn't this puppy adorable?! This was what Clictus, Esther and i stumbled upon when we were getting some notes photostated at a stationary shop nearby the Heng Ee roundabout. As much as i want to adopt this cute mutt, there's no space in my life to adopt him yet.


DAY 5 - June 5
Kryptonite juice you might ask? Regardless of what is in it, both Melissa D and i managed to collect all six Coca-Cola glass cans from McDonald's. These glasses will be part of our house in the near future.

Expect to be served with Pepsi, 100 plus or orange juice in these glasses.


DAY 6 - June 6
One of the typical scene when i'm not in the office; i'll be somewhere else, with my laptop, rushing in my work to my superiors.

I personally believe that i need to pull up my socks, be more disciplined and responsible in carrying out my duty. I have to admit that i had taken advantage of my boss' trust, and i need to repent and amend my ways. After all, i represent my company, and there is a certain standards to fulfill to be part of it.

Three in one 365

Argh! I keep forgetting to post up the photos! So, i decided to put it all up at once.

Here you are, what has been going on in June so far.

DAY 1
This is my car, parked in an alley some 2km away from my office. Parking spots are a scarce here on the island. After all, Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said there are some 2 million vehicles on the road despite the fact there are only 1.6 million Penangites.

And someone left a note on my car later that day, saying that i blocked the passage way and risked getting scratched. *sigh*



DAY 2
Claims, claims, claims! One of the important routines to do early in the month. My colleagues and i did not get our claims last month, but my boss managed to talk to HR, and we're getting it this month! Hurray!


DAY 3
What does a napkin and a ring depicted here got to do with anything? I forgot to take photos earlier, but Melissa D and i purchased our wedding bands, and we ate at Kim Gary with Andrea.
