"...Everyday the same routine before I skate off to school but who knew that this day wasn't like the rest,
instead of takin the test I took two to the chest.
Call me blind but I didn't see it comin and everybody was runnin but I couldn't hear nothin, except gun blast,
it happened so fast I didn't really know this kid though I sat by him in class.
Maybe this kid was reachin out for love or maybe for a moment he forgot who he was or maybe this kid just wanted to be hugged,
whatever it was I know its because
We are, we are the youth of the nation...."

When we thought the Columbine High School shooting was horrifying, Americans once again find horror in the latest incident at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, where 32 students were killed by a student before turning the gun on himself.
"BLACKSBURG, Virginia (April 17, 2007): The deadliest school shooting in US history spread shock waves though the United States on Monday, reviving calls for tighter gun control and renewing the debate about campus security.
The rampage left at least 33 dead and 15 wounded at the Virginia Tech University here and most of those killed were students attending classes at a hall at the university, where the gunman apparently used chains to lock the doors and prevent the victims from escaping, campus and police officials said...."

Apparently, this dude, Cho Seung-Hui has some issues also to deal with.
"BLACKSBURG, Va., April 18 — Campus authorities were aware 17 months ago of the troubled mental state of the student who shot and killed 32 people at Virginia Tech on Monday, an imbalance graphically on display in vengeful videos and a manifesto he mailed to NBC News in the time between the two sets of shootings.
"You have vandalized my heart, raped my soul and torched my conscience,” the gunman, Cho Seung-Hui, said in one video mailed shortly before the shooting at a classroom and his suicide. “Thanks to you, I die like Jesus Christ to inspire generations of the weak and the defenseless people....”

He may look cool, but the outcome of his actions sucks.Who is to blamefor putting a gun in a hand of a child? The NRA? Parents up-bringing? Stress from studies? Teachers? Society? The law? By pointing fingers at others, we to need to examine ourselves and ask, could we be the one who pushed him to the edge?
Somehow, i believe all parties are involved in this disaster. And no one should look away from it, but imbed it into our conscience, reminding ourselves that history could repeat itself.
Watch Michael Moore's Bowling For Columbine - a movie documentary that took an interesting look at the Columbine High School shooting, and the elements connected to the incident, everything from the sales of guns to the public and Firearms amendments to public safety and school regulation.
Maybe, all we need to do is be a friend to the people around us. That person maybe the quiet girl sitting at the corner of the classroom, or the nerdy boy who rarely speaks to anyone. For all we know, we can help prevent something like this in the future. Like in the play, An Inspector Calls by J.B. Priestley, everyone is connected in someway or another. Ergo, whatever decision we make, whatever we do is a butterfly effect.
For all we know, we could stop another kid from running amok in school while putting lead into other students.
"If everyone cared and nobody cried,
If everyone loved and nobody lied,
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride,
Then we'd see the day when nobody died...."

It's the majority faults becos how can a man change when he is by himself, even Christian are ask to uphold one another... but the truth is saddening
I remember once u said Christian is no different than worldy ppl
then whatz da point of believing in Christ
Letting go means let go of who u are ur bad attitude...
I only learn this after I went through a period of pain like the guy in Virginia Tech..
Actually he kinda give me an idea...should I do the same to my arch rival...in class..of course Not..God would be fairly dissapointed.
