Sleeping early yesterday, i got out of my bed and checked out the highlights of the games. Not bad, winning the World Cup by 5 -3 at penalty. Not very frequent that you see this happenning.
This is the fourth time around that Italy held the World Cup... and France failed to stop that. Can't believe Zidane headbutted the other player. I was dumbfounded watching that scene on the highlights. Indeed everyone who watch the match would remember that 110th minute scene that got him a red card.
It would be nice if France were to win, letting the veteran players go off in style. But then again, the ball is round, the field is green and anything goes.
Well, this world cup is done with. Now fans and players will be looking forward to FIFA World Cup 2010. I know many Brazil and England fans are! Who knows? Brazil might take back the cup once again? Or England shall prevail the next time? Can Malaysia make the cut in the next match (FYI, Malaysia did enter in the World Cup eons ago!)
