Careless enough to lock my keys in the car, leave my notebook in the office when i'm out for assignments and dropping my mobile phone every now and then. And now my mobile phone (BlackCell, as i call it) is acting up.
It is covered with dents and hairline cracks. Yesterday, one of those crack, the one near the joint, became severe and it's somewhat disrupting the 'flipping process'. *sigh*
So, i'm currently comtempalating, if i should get a new mobile phone now or just continue using this till it breaks down... hopefully by next April. Should i continue using Sony Ericsson or another brand. Should i say goodbye to my phone now?
Speaking of goodbyes, contreversial film director Yasmin Ahmad recently passed away. May she rest in peace. Her movies and commercials are simple touching and amazing!
Oh, and today we have the second death related to the Influenza A(H1N1) in the country. I wish these idiots had when to the doctor immediately once they were not feeling well. But no, they took days to seek treatment, when they've somewhat passed the point of no return!
The same advice goes to all feeling sick recently! Get help early!
Well, gotta survey a little on what mobile phone i should get. And what laptop should i get?

I can’t believe that I stayed till today

There’s nothing here in this soul left to say..."

i've been telling my friend who is not feeling too well to go see doctor but she doesn't want to lisen. sigh. feel like dragging her to go see the doc.
Anyways, laptop - acer or asus is good. HP also not too bad if you're using it for work purposes.
Hphone - i'm contemplating buying a blackberry. hahaha. sony ericsson is good la. Nokia E71 is good too for work purposes but then the qwerty board is wee bit too small for my fingers though. ahahaha.
Hi Dewgem, I haven't been personally introduced to you but I've heard nothing but complaints about HP laptops.
So Bernard, if you are considering a laptop switch, I don't think you should consider HP (with no offence to Dewgem). Seriously, I had 1 and its been to the service center 3 times within a year. My company is selling of the entire 1st batch of HP laptops they purchased within 2 years to switch to Dells. Numerous others have expressed similar sentiments regarding the once renown HP products. Heck, Sher-Mayne's dad has returned 2 brand-new printer cartridges because it couldn't work (and they have a counter specifically for cartridge returns whereby they replace it with a new one on the stop). I think it would be best to stay away from HP.
Dewgem and Justin - thanks!
So far, after gathering feedbacks, we've narrowed down our choices to three brands - HP, Compaq and Dell, based on reliability, budget and after service sales.
We're looking forward to the PC Fair this weekend. Hopefully, we can get one ASAP for work.

Just my personal recommendation, stay away from anything related to HP (Compaq included). Dells are good. That said, you may still end up with the faulty one that is in the % for quality issues. Looks like now buying laptop also need to pray. Hahaha. Anyway, Sher-Mayne's church staff are all using Dells without issues. Ultimately the choice is yours to make.
Hmmm... got a Compaq laptop from the recent PC Fair here.
Haven't got a chance to fully utilise it, yet. But it has a three year warranty lah.
I heard the Dell's computers from two years ago were good. It went down hill after that stockpile.
