woke up early today... i guess it's because i spent my night on the living room couch. marred my back. was tired yesterday.
yesterday.... hmm... after church, was the caroling choir practice. too few older youths being involved this time around, so we're (Justin and i) "taking lead" of the younger youths. at home, wanted to blog, but the server was down for awhile. jeremy was sleepy, ping pong game's delayed. will play with him later today, if possible. slept on the sofa while watching SMALLVILLE. i guess i was that tired.
well, a whole day ahead of me today! gotta rush!~BANZAI!
oh, the photo taken cople of weeks back, during the MEGA EVENT; Bethlehem's Treasure.
that.... a wise man?

Log of a Camp Commander (DAY 2)
*i've decided to use pictures to explain what's going on. minimum writing. as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.
** i've uploaded all the photos a couple of days back, i just procrastinated.
*** more pictures this time!
DAY 2
woke up the morning, with roommates Mr Patrick and Andrew waking me up. apparently, my hand phone alarm clock woke everyone in the room, except me. had morning devotion, led by Pastor Stephen, with my roommates. apparently, all the morning devotion touched on the book of Joshua.
after breakfast, was the second talk by our guest speaker. went for the groundnuts and tobacco leaf drying factories after that. had lunch, and later workshop one. i was in Wendy's group, and we talked about the kind of person we are, after we did the personality test before the visitation. it seems that i'm a person who has more sanguine traits, out of the sanguine, choleric, melancholy, and phlegmatic traits. what is a sanguine person like? they are like me, Jason, Kevin, Enoch, Swee Seng, Jocelyn, Lydia and Gigi! gila-gila people!
right after the workshop, we went for the physical challenge, which was changed into the waterfall visit! it was great... err... sort of. and at night, we had the following sermon, and then free time, were the CF committee had our meeting. blurred out what was going on to me to all the committee members and advisors present. that, was i believe at that time, was a good time.
slept at around 1 am, after small chats and viewing at creatures from the forest nearby invading our space... or is it the other way around?
Shi How and Kevin were estatic when we got to the groundnut factory. the girls were just speechless by their actions.
the girls and a few nuts among them!
the guys, and we're nuts about nuts, not to mention are nuts ourselves!
we are just nuts over nuts! wow... what a cliche!
this is where the roasted nuts are sent for packaging. while i got my hand stuck, sarcastic, sadistic Jocelyn tried to finish my hand off!
NOW my hand's really stuck! nah, just kidding!
need i explain more what this is?
Tobacco plant. we were at a tobacco leaf drying factory after our trip to the groundnut factory.
this is how they're dried.
as you can see... tobacco kills. therefore, smoking kills. duh!
Benum Hill Resort. crawling with National Service trainers.
the campers at Benum Hill Resort... waiting for comformation of the usage of place. suppose to do our physical challenge here. but God had other plans for us.
The waterfall we went to. not only did we all have fun here, this is also where i loss not only my diginity, but i got my limited edition FIFA FRANCE 98 that my uncle got from France torn here! you guys will pay!~ *argh*
campers at the waterfall. i guess you can't always get good shots when the camera is near water.
we enjoyed ourselves at the waterfall. much better than physical training? yeah!
cool!~ some campers saw a big lizard around the waterfall. but me without glasses can't really get a good look at it.
the waterfall that we were at! Jocelyn blurred in the picture.
funky shoe! Shi How's left slipper got swept away by the current while we enjoyed ourselves. Nancy saw it, but it was too late. thanks to Andrew, Kevin, and myself, Shi How got a new shoe! it only lasted for about a day.
Love & Peace!~

of mood swings, priorities & responsibilities.
recently, i have been a little temperamental. i am not such a person, but these fews day, i was that person. and i promised myself not to blog while i'm under such conditions, cause i might unintentionally hurt someone through what i post. therefore, my blog has been stale for the past few days. but hey, i'm blogging now!~
anyway, there are a lot of things that i need to straighten out. i am in-chatge of getting the mime done for Christmas presentation at church, i need to hand in the other part of evalutation form, dealing with my "current education condition", updating my blog, caroling practices, and the list goes on. i guess i need to put into order the my priorities and responsibilities granted upon me. like stated on my friend's MSN nickname, "don't let the more important things be at the mercy of the least important things."
"with great powers, come great responsibilities!"

Log of a Camp Commander (Day 1)
* out of the picture i have, courtesy of Hui Wen, i only picked 100++ pictures from 955 of them. i will only use 50-60% of them, though.
** this kind of article should be written ASAP!
DAY 1
Looking forward to this day. The camp was one of the reasons. But filling the stomach is the main priority now. And a word appears to the famish mind: DIM SUM.
It appear to be nearby Swee Seng’s house. An hour’s drive…. It seems to be near for Raub people, eh? But after chowing down a hearty meal of Dim Sum, it wasn’t that of a big deal. We got to see the new CAC Methodist Church, which is under construction and Swee Seng all hyped about it, we were on our way to Benum Hill Resort.
11.00 pm. We were there on time. But things weren’t as planned as what the admin promised us the day before. We panicked, or rather I panicked! With flocks of campers arriving there at around 12 plus, our teacher advisors, Ms Angelina and Mr. Jeffery with the others went negotiating with the others. I was left to tend the campers.
After packet lunch, countless lame jokes, introductions and Guardian Angel initiation by the lake, they have made an ultimatum: to move to CAC Methodist campsite, which is a few kilometers away from this camp site. All amp-ed up and prepared, we shifted camp sites, leaving some campers wondering where we are going.
We are at the camp site, the new camp site! And everyone registered and put their stuff away. As I looked at my watch, we were a little behind schedule. Minor setback. And it was then it was the group building session. We are all grouped into four groups. My group consists of Kevin, Jerome, Swee Seng, Leanne, Joelle and I. We were supposed to:
1. Get a group name.
2. Prepare a group cheer.
3. Make a sketch out of the based on the bible verse given to us. (And in our case, it was 1 Timothy 2:14)
After many moments of mind usage time, we prepared ourselves for the next session, dinner, the sermon and supper. Played with the dog, shower than ate dinner. Dinner was ok.
When the time of praise and worship, lead by Swee Seng was over, it was time to introduce the speaker, Pastor Stephen Cheah. He preached about the outline of leadership, and what it is all about. He defined what leadership is all about and what spiritual leadership is. As stated, spiritual leadership is moving people on to God’s agenda. And he urged us to view Jesus as a role model for servant leadership. One way or another, we are all called to be leaders. Leaders in our family, among friends, at the workplace, a leader in life.
At supper, we had red bean soup and cookies, and we were told to serve one another, by feeding the person on the left! Funny though, be we did enjoy ourselves. And I started the experiment, with the banana! Hahaha!~
before departing for Raub. Lai Seng seems disorientated. hmm....
the group i was in, YELLOW HALOS. from left to right, Jerome, Kevin, Mr Patrick, Leanne, myself and Joelle. Swee Seng was missing!
The supposedly nature friendly green group, GMAIL. from left to right, Hui Wen, Jasmine, Jamie, Choi Li, Yean Yeen, Lai Seng and Shi How.
the blue team, IXORA... can't remember the meaning, oops. from left to right, Eve, Phebe, Andrew, Jocelyn, and Michelle. Aaron wasn't there, yet.
Cilipadi, the "spicy" red team (pun intended!). from left to right, Mary, Lydia, Nancy, Gigi, Juinn Cherng and Jason.
our camp speaker, Pastor Stephen Cheah. calm, looking dude!
praise and worship session.
supper time, feeding each other! the servanthood leadership concept application.
what was i scribbling there? i vaguely remember.
me and this cute black puppy. poor thing, it has worms in its tummy.
Love & Peace!~
